Xenadrine EFX is an ephedrine-free fat-burner that, since it is ephedrine-free, doesn't have any of the side-effects that make ephedrine-based products problematic. Xenadrine EFX contains a proprietary blend of ingredients, the Xenadrine Thermodyne Complex, that promotes thermogenesis or otherwise helps you to stay on your diet, including tyrosine, green tea extract, cocoa extract, yerba mate, di-methionine, ginger root, bitter orange, DMAE and grape seed extract. Citrus aurantium in Xenadrine EFX Citrus aurantium is the botanical name for a fruit known as zhi shi in traditional Chinese medicine and as bitter orange or sour orange in other countries. The unripe fruit contains synephrine - a chemical that is structurally related to ephedrine - as well as octopamine and tyramine. Like ephedrine, synephrine has the ability to increase metabolic rate and lipolysis (fat breakdown). Synephrine is also a mild appetite suppressant and an energy enhancer.
